NCAA Women's Lacrosse

Bay Area WAVE Women's Lacrosse Club For Players in the San Francisco Bay Area and Beyond!

Bay Area WAVE is a lacrosse club for young women in grades 3 thru 12. We train and compete with players from Northern California, reaching from Pebble Beach to Granite Bay. We represent players coming from 27 different programs.

TEAMS AND CLUB ACTION

“Collegiate/Post Collegiate” Women already in college or have graduated. Scrimmage and competition based. Offering open field league night and game fitness through speed, agility, footwork and conditioning.

“College PREP” HS Class of 2011. Scrimmage and competition based; college drills and focus on the older player who will play D1, 2, 3, or club lacrosse; supplement speed, agility, footwork and conditioning.

“Select” HS Class of 2012/2013/2014/2015. Based on tryouts, our training squad of elite players who are ready to represent WAVE at elite tournaments and compete nationwide; scrimmage other local club’s “A” teams.

“Futures” HS Class of 2012/2013/2014/2015. Based on tryouts, our training squad of players with less experience, skill, speed, strength and pace compared to the Elite players; still acquiring major fundamentals and aggressiveness; scrimmage other local club’s “B” teams or A/B combo teams.

“Developmental” (aka “Devo”) Rising 6th, 7th, 8th graders. Typically developing basic skills through drills, games and FUNdamentals; will scrimmage other local club’s middle school teams and enter middle school tournaments; focus on readying skills for high school play.

“Little Laxer” Rising 4th& 5th grade; starting to learn the game--basic stick skills and rules; players who want to try lacrosse or already love it. FUNdamentals and small games.
